map of original district #6 the schoolhouse in 1913 the schoolhouse built either in 1830 or 1837—though sources disagree on which—and served local grade school more century. hosted children ranging grade 1 8 in 1 classroom. district centered around clums corners , designated district 11 until being renamed district 6 sometime between 1854 , 1862. the structure built on land donated luther , olive eddy, owned large tract of farmland adjacent current lot. luther eddy later became first town superintendent education in 1844. after consolidation of brunswick central school district in 1950s, school closed. @ 1 point, reopened year accommodate large student population on new school s campus. it later used garage school district. west wall removed accommodate vehicles. after that, used storage house district. during 1970s, exterior of building restored local kiwanis, including replacing west wall had been removed. building used brunswick historical society museum. 2007, of interior refurbish...
