play tried show evolution of video games not technical point of view, interactions between them , society. illustrated through interviews important game designers such shigeru miyamoto, hideo kojima, tetsuya mizuguchi , biographies of many other leading personalities in games industry, through advertisement campaigns, , though highlighting relationships between games , sports, politics, hollywood , military industries. the exhibition organised in chronological order , divided in 5 main areas. first area went beginnings of video games till raise of nintendo, playing cards dated 1900 , few electrical toys 50s shown. second area characterized 16-bit consoles. third 1 dedicated playstation, sega mega drive, n64 , other minor consoles such atari jaguar, whilst fourth 1 on pc games, first id software productions recent mmorpg (massively-multiplayer online role-playing games). last area focused on playstation 2, xbox , gamecube.
