pa 284 begins @ intersection pa 287 north of village of english center. road winds northeast through rural lycoming county alongside nearby little pine creek. pa 284 runs through pine township, reaching newly named blackstone creek (from little pine). two-lane continues through dense woods in area, paralleling blackstone creek village of buttonwood. in buttonwood, pa 284 enters interchange us 15, first intersecting ramp us 15 south. after crossing freeway, pa 284 curves north , ends @ junction on-ramp us 15 northbound.
