in 2014, bridgewater college baseball team won old dominion athletic conference (odac) tournament , finished season in ncaa division iii south regional championship. eagles lost emory university, eventual college world series runner-up. first ever south regional title appearance eagles finished in sweet sixteen , ranked in top 25 in both d3baseball.com , nacba top 30 final polls.


equestrian

the equestrian team has consistently been 1 of top teams in zone 4 region 2 of ihsa, winning title in 2006 , 2011, , winning odac championship in 2007 , 2009. in 2011, bridgewater s first ever trip ihsa national show resulted in tie fifth place in team standings university of kentucky. bridgewater riders finished in top 10 in 7 of 8 classes. top 6 finishers in each class scored points team.


football

in 2001, bridgewater college football team finished season national runner-up after 30-27 loss mount union in stagg bowl ncaa division iii national football championship.
