javid husain did b.a. government college, lahore in 1963 securing first position in punjab university. secured b.a.(honours) in economics government college, lahore/punjab university in 1964 , m.a. in economics punjab university in 1965 distinctions. 1975 1978, attended several seminars on international relations @ school of advanced international studies (sais) of johns hopkins university.


javid husain fluent in english, persian, urdu, , punjabi. has working knowledge of french, having taken third , fourth degree language courses in french alliance française in paris, france. familiar arabic.
