after completing sslc in madras, ramana had many odd jobs before starting reporter then-popular newspaper andhra patrika in 1953. here got opportunity interact eminent writers of telugu literature nanduri ramamohana rao, pilaka ganapati sastry, surampudi seetaram etc. working same newspaper.

sri. ramana first working daily section of newspaper , shifted weekly section. while working here, stories children in name of budugu (lil kid) published , became popular. authored these stories present views of little kids off elders in family. these stories humorous, informative, knowledgeable children , @ same time helping elderly know thought process of kids. later, these stories published in form of book, received.

while writing cinema page section in paper, ramana s short , crisp writing helped him gain popularity film reviews. same time when got introduced film industry , befriended famous stars of film fraternity. got introduced great directors of times, adurthi subbarao , dundi, encouraged him work films. rakthasambandam first break writer; since never lagged in progress story, screenplay, dialogue writer.
