bucharest has landmark buildings , monuments. perhaps prominent of these palace of parliament, built in 1980s during reign of communist dictator nicolae ceaușescu. largest parliament building in world, palace houses romanian parliament (the chamber of deputies, , senate), national museum of contemporary art. building boasts 1 of largest convention centres in world.
