algiers adapted october 8, 1939, presentation of cbs radio series campbell playhouse. hour-long adaptation starred orson welles , paulette goddard, ray collins taking role of inspector slimane.


the film dramatized hour-long radio play on 2 broadcasts of lux radio theatre. charles boyer , hedy lamarr reprised roles in broadcast july 7, 1941. boyer starred loretta young in broadcast december 14, 1942.
