early years

kathy born in us, on 1961. third of 4 children born marriage of daniel kelly, sr. , janice.

in 1965, father , sister caroline left find home in europe. papa dan bought home in spain, close city of gamonal. janice , other 3 children reunited dan , caroline after months.

in 1969, dan divorced janice , married barbara-ann suokko in 1970 @ new york. janice returned , apparently lost contacts kathy. barbara , dan gave birth 8 other children.

kathy homeschooled, elder , younger siblings, dan, barbara , uncle jim. learned ballet , play violin. later, teacher of younger siblings. kathleen can play guitar, accordion, keyboards, piano among others.

in 1974, kathy, caroline, paul, john , maribel formed kelly kids, play @ children s parties or in streets. band later called kelly family, dan , barbara joined, later followed kathy s siblings.

in 2000, kathy kelly officially left band pursue solo career. last song sung band myself not alone brother john in 1999.

solo career

kathy kelly started solo career releasing single called re losing me reached number 94 in german charts. soon, compilation album called best of kathy kelly, includes of best kelly family songs , 5 new songs. peaked @ number 32 on german chart , number 44 on dutch chart.

after leaving kelly family in 2000, kathy released album, morning of life, time whole new material. peaked @ number 22 of german charts.

in 2002, kathy released third studio album, straight heart. in 2005, kathy released fourth album, called godspel, features songs jimmy kelly.

kathy started tour called godspel tour 2009 mid 2012 in germany, in romania, czech republic, netherlands, austria , switzerland.

on september 2012, kelly started european tour through germany , romania.

in 2014, kathy released holiday album called christmas songs , in 2015 album called first. through time present in festivals , sporadic concerts. year did tour siblings paul , patricia.

on december 31, 2015 , january 2, 2016 kathy did first concerts @ bethlehem, israel.
