Humanitarian Response to the LRA Crisis Dungu, Democratic Republic of the Congo

the united nations has presence in dungu, of agencies , monuc firmly established in town since march 2009. 2 peacekeeping battalions (moroccan , indonesian) ensure security road maintenance, while agencies such ocha, unhcr, unicef, fao, wfp , undp (through pooled fund program) act donors , coordinators of humanitarian response. detachment of bangladesh air contingent (banair) operates under monusco 3 helicopters in dungu.
