the mummified body of woman aged twenty-five thirty-five discovered inside mine shaft near town of antelope in las vegas, clark county, nevada on september 27, 1986. subject white, 5 feet 6 inches tall (168 cm) , weighed between 92 , 112 pounds (42 , 51 kilograms). appeared transient, walls in shaft lined wood , appeared makeshift shelter. discovered underneath blanket, although naked. several articles of clothing, shirt, bra, single sock , pair of jeans personal items found in or near entrance, included toothpaste, lip gloss , pair of eyeglasses. examination of body indicated mother of @ least 1 child , had had dental work done. of adult teeth intact. cause of death not determined.
