on 31 december 2010, jawaher abu rahma (36) died following weekly protest. according reports injured in tear gas attack during demonstration. exact cause of death disputed. other reports place @ home @ time of incident, several hundred meters away. taken hospital in ramallah after choked on gas, did not respond treatment , died following day. members of israeli military (idf) claimed there no evidence rahma participated in protest, or tear gas had killed her, , stated there irregularities in palestinian authority s medical report on rahma s death. idf soldiers referenced in stories remain unnamed. several jewish israelis in tel aviv protesting against idf s presumed involvement death arrested israeli police on 1 january 2011 outside israel s defense ministry.
