on 21 january 2008, stagecoach manchester purchased bus operations of mayne & son 38 buses transferred hyde road garage.
on 10 august 2008, stagecoach manchester purchased bullocks coaches. bullocks retained route 147 oxford road link operated subsidised university , hospital link. bullocks services included route 157 between woodford , manchester, has since been renumbered x57 , made limited stop between east didsbury , manchester.
in march 2011, stagecoach started running stockport metroshuttle service.
on 2 december 2012, stagecoach manchester purchased first greater manchester s wigan operation. transaction saw 300 employees, 120 vehicles (although 20 owned transport greater manchester) , wigan depot purchased former mayne legal entity. business rebranded stagecoach in wigan although managed stagecoach manchester.
on 3 march 2013 stagecoach purchased bluebird 40 buses, 80 staff , depot lease @ greengate. on 26 april 2014 stagecoach took on business of jpt bus company 41 buses.
