the pavilion of antiquity important , 1 of richest objects in national historical museum, 585 objects. displayed objects start late paleolithic, prehistoric culture proved lively , powerful in our lands, , ends objects belonging middle ages (4th 8th centuries). objects of prehistoric settlement of maliq represent neolithic flourishing since middle of fourth millennium until 2600 bc.


the exhibited objects , coins of silver , bronze embossed on behalf of illyrian kings of centers of durrës, apollonia, shkodër, byllis , amantia, discovered in provinces of south illyria of 4th 3rd centuries bc, indicate strong economy , urban illyrian culture in general. impressive sculptures of apolloniates school or god apollo, 1 of beautiful sculptures of time (6th century bc). quite interesting are: mosaic of beauty of durres (4th century bc), head of artemis (3rd century bc), anthropomorphic appearance of river vjosa (3rd or 2nd century bc), head of man of limestone (5th century ad), vases decorated red figures, , others. findings of monumental tomb of lower selca, pogradec (3rd century ad) occupy important place.
