Żagań

the first historical mention of Żagań around 1202. town placed on magdeburg law przemko in 1280. document not preserved today (one charter found later considered forgery). Żagań gained fame capital of duchies of Żagań , Żagań-głogów. later, after death of henry iii in 1309 , subsequent division of domains, Żagań inherited oldest son, henry iv faithful, became in ancestor of Żagań-głogów branch, ended in 1504.


lubin

the exact foundation of lubin , history not entirely known, previous studies assumed city existed in 1170, formally founded 1202. district part of duchy of głogów, , after 1273 passed duchy of Ścinawa, shortly after under rule of przemko, granted lubin magdeburg law in 1288.


przemków

it uncertain whether city founded actual name or another. known, however, przemko made district center of exchange , trading near neighbors. document of foundation not preserved, german historians report issued on 8 july 1280.


wołów

unfortunately, documents foundation missing, sources indicate wołów founded in 1285; however, more specific details or date of formal foundation unknown. assumed wołów provided przemko strong advocate pursuit of silesia intensive investment shares. investment income earned duke experience, used him in subsequent locations, including wołów. disappeared foundation documents, system used city uncertain.


wińsko

in document confirming possessions of lubiąż monastery in 1217 existed record of wroblino juxta vin , which, scholars, regarded earliest mention of wińsko. however, first reliable historical notice district, in document issued in 1280, listed in local church pastor nicolaus. in 1285, wińsko placed under magdeburg law przemko.
