exterior queue

guests approach building under guise of visiting exhibit called universe & - alone? has been transplanted 1964 new york world expo. exterior queue flanked posters advertising extraterrestrial activity , microphones giving updates on fair.

pre-show

guests ushered building , retro-modern exhibit. 1960s narration, however, cut short mib agent terminating false program , issuing recruits men in black headquarters. 1 of walls of exhibit splits, opening elevator, travels deep earth. guests have express pass , use ride takes entrance which, instead of riding elevator, walk long hallway , meets guests no express passes after have walked through hallway. single riders follow third queue.

interior queue

upon exiting elevator, guests enter hallway within secret mib headquarters. traveling down hall, pass film s famous worm guys on break, several interactive doors various labs, , through alien scanners. @ end of hallway, guests overlook immigration , controls room, large video screen broadcasting training information , alien twins, bob , bhnxaxx operating controls. move weapons room, , training facility, training vehicle awaits. guests use express pass skip rooms , meet normal riders when see alien twins in control rooms, follow normal riders in different path.

ride

pitted against team of players (riding on separate vehicle), recruits board training vehicles equipped laser guns, called s4 alienators ( jumbo judy ) , proceed training room, blasting @ cardboard cutouts , crudely drawn images of aliens amid flashing red lights. soon, however, mib director zed (played rip torn) informs trainees alien prison ship has crash landed in middle of new york city. guns set full power trainees instantly launched heart of new york, attempting score many points can shooting aliens in vulnerable areas (the eyes , shoulders). aliens vary large, plain-in-sight creatures small ones hiding in windows , bushes. aliens fire causing cart spin out of control.

after brief romp through city, 2 head-to-head vehicles face each other , pass on either side of large green scanner. scanner reveals opposing car full of aliens in disguise, prompting shoot-out between 2 paired vehicles. both cars race shoot other s fusion exhaust port, glowing red light atop vehicle. hit causes opposing vehicle wildly spin out of control, offering more time collect points while spin.

the battle between cars comes end when jay (played smith) appears on giant television screen in times square, alerting riders game faces on because big bug has been found. turning corner, riders come face-to-face edgar, gigantic cockroach-like alien seen in first film. animatronic bug in ride stands 30 feet (9.1 m) tall, measures 50 feet (15 m) wide, has 8-foot-long (2.4 m) teeth, , 20-foot-long (6.1 m) claws. bug immune weak guns laser fire, zed orders riders press much-dreaded red button (which activates subatomic thermonuclear disruptor). there small window of time when button effective, , every rider presses button during window granted 100,000 point bonus (average first time riders score 40,000 60,000 points, without bonus, while experienced riders aim anywhere between 500,000 , 900,000 points). both cars enter bugs mouth , spin out of control amid fog , strobe flashes.

during wind down, both teams have scores averaged , agent j appears declare them mib material while encouraging losing team try again. 2 vehicles separate view final scene; losing teams shown alien coach saying basically, zigged when shoulda zagged! gotta learn when run , gun , when lock , load baby. try again! . winning team pulls alien tailor finishing black suit , telling riders suit ready next wednesday . these various combinations allow 35 different endings.

agent j neuralizes both teams regardless , vehicles re-enter retro-themed atrium universe & logo on wall in front of them, , big question answered: alone? of course are! riders exit men in black gift shop.
