seeing significant local landmark, local preservationists have concentrated on ensuring survival of barn: town has purchased barn, , after raising money continue maintenance, there plans convert barn , barnyard park , possibly museum. stable area planned have rustic agriculture museum displays on farming techniques circa 1900 , antique farm equipment. other plans include stone bridge on creek, stone walk path, , historic general store.
