oklahoma state scored in opening drive marching down field , concluding when tyreek hill made 2-yard run touchdown. ben grogan s kick made score 7–0 osu. ensuing kick-off oklahoma state resulted in morgan burns running 86 yards touchdown. matthew mccrane s point tied score 7–7 11:36 on clock in first quarter. kansas state s charles jones ran in 6 yards 4:16 left in first , kansas state held lead remainder of game. kansas state achieved 36 unanswered points until ramon richards made 38-yard interception touchdown after k-state starters pulled game. 4:49 left in game, matthew mccrane sent out make attempt @ 53-yard field goal. attempt , kansas state won 48–14.
