for picture transition, pictures faded. last picture remained until entire screen faded episode.


for closing theme, video of child actors supposed young sharon , tracey, in second picture of opening theme, out in park eating ice creams teddies, chasing each other, tracey trying sharon play, sharon jumping down steps, tracey looking through railing pond , ends sharon , tracey waving bye , running away screen together.



series 3–9

series 3 introduced revised version of song performed quirke , robson. in opening theme, robson sang first verse , quirke sang last; opposite way round in closing theme. used same video series 2 opening , closing theme.


the episode closing theme extended version of song. quirke , robson sang separate verses before singing last line together: won t come true, ll do? .



series 10–present

a new arrangement of theme dave arch accompanies new title sequence using number of images used in previous series titles current image of sisters , dorien – styled pictures in frames, slides , images through camera s view screen. video sequence original closing credits appears in opening sequence alongside clip old episode made home video recording. more of old end credits video appears programme moves in , out of commercial break. confirmed prior broadcast in online interview whatsontv opening titles have been updated new images , joseph singing in opening titles alongside quirke , robson.
