on 16 may 2009, following self-referral parliamentary commissioner standards claiming £13,000 in mortgage expenses on home on mortgage had been paid, chaytor suspended labour party, , on 2 june 2009 announced stepping down member of parliament @ next general election. shortly after labour party nec s special endorsements panel barred him standing election labour party candidate. general election took place in june 2010, , chaytor did not stand election.
