the first match of group b doubles had ranked no. 4 mahesh bhupathi , max mirnyi against polish Łukasz kubot , austrian oliver marach. first set went tiebreak, , won bhupathi , mirnyi 7–6. second won them broke serve 6–4 second set scoreline. victory , result of other match lie second in group.


the first match of group singles between serbian novak djokovic , czech tomáš berdych. djokovic (who won atp world tour finals in 2008) broke @ start , @ end of first set 6–3 win. djokovic broke berdych once in second set enough 6–3, 6–3 win. result of other match in group a, serbian sits on top of group.


in third match of day daniel nestor , nenad zimonjić played against wesley moodie , dick norman , won losing 3 games: 6–2, 6–1.


in last match, rafael nadal , andy roddick squared off. american started brightly winning first set 6–3. pair traded breaks in second before set decided in nadal s favour on tiebreaker, 7–6. third set looked heading towards tie breaker before nadal broke win set 6–4 , match.
