through mediation of green count of savoy, amadeus vi, 2 sides made peace treaty @ turin. gave no formal advantage genoa or venice. spelled end of long competition: genoese shipping not seen in adriatic after chioggia.
this conflict saw first use of shipborne cannons in support of amphibious assault operations , perhaps against genoese galleys.
the conflict disastrous both sides, , genoa crippled. genoa lost naval ascendency city-state had enjoyed prior war. venice might have suffered badly, not admirals vettor pisani , carlo zeno. regained strength , continued impressive maturity until defeat league of cambrai in 1508.
