health related grounds

communicable diseases of public health significance. includes class tuberculosis, chancroid, gonorrhea, granuloma inguinale, lymphogranuloma venereum, syphilis, leprosy or other communicable disease determined u.s. secretary of health , human services. individuals diagnosed these illnesses may apply waiver of ground of inadmissibility on form i-601.
refusal of required vaccinations
physical or mental disorders , associated harmful behaviors

criminal , related violations

crimes involving moral turpitude (other purely political offense)
a controlled substance violation according laws , regulations of country or u.s. state
two or more summary convictions not including dui s, dangerous driving or general assault, or 1 indictable conviction.
prostitution , commercialized vice
a serious criminal activity immunity prosecution has been received

security , related violations

spies, saboteurs or terrorists
voluntary members of communist or other totalitarian parties

persons inadmissible under section 212(a)(3)(b) of immigration , nationality act have

illegal entrants , immigration violators

there several circumstances under illegal entrants , immigration violators may apply waiver of inadmissibility:



persons enter u.s. without being admitted or paroled @ port of entry (ewi - entry without inspection) or overstay valid visa begin accrue unlawful presence after illegal entry, or period of authorized stay expires.
persons knowingly or willfully made misrepresentations or committed fraud in order obtain immigration benefit or benefit under ina, may apply waiver of ground of inadmissibility on form i-601.
persons deported or given expedited removal must file form i-212, application permission reapply admission (if eligible).
persons unlawfully present in united states aggregate period of 1 (1) year have exited united states , re-entered without inspection (ewi) not eligible file form i-601 waive unlawful presence.
