the body of female between ages of fifteen , twenty-two found in lumberton, north carolina on june 2, 1978. located @ edge of field , had died weeks before body discovered, resulting in decomposition made determining eye color impossible. girl between 5 feet 1 5 feet 3 inches tall , weighed 100 120 pounds @ time of death. white light brown hair , wore short-sleeved shirt hood , several different colored stripes, jeans , white open toed shoes. had several fillings , had of molars removed. fingernails , toenails had been painted reddish color. no signs of violence observed on body.

northampton county jane doe

on december 26, 1983, partial skeletal remains of young child discovered hunters in northampton county, north carolina, near virginia. due animals , decomposition, many of bones, victim s hair , clothing not recovered. victim female, of african heritage, between 4 , 6 years old , may have been biracial. although there no apparent cause of death, did have evidence of trauma face occurred earlier in life, possibly abuse. other details of victim s life included have suffered ear infections , had damage nose prior death. girl had received dental care, fillings found in teeth. may have been deceased as year before found.
