the zograf monastery owns library of major significance bulgarian culture, preserving medieval manuscripts such 15th-century copy of passional of saint naum of ohrid, 14th-century passional of saint paraskevi, original draft of paisius of hilendar s istoriya slavyanobolgarskaya , history of zograf. monastic library houses 388 manuscripts in church slavonic , 126 in greek, 10,000 printed books altogether. 2 medieval bulgarian royal charters, zograf charter , rila charter, have been discovered in monastery s library.
