minorca among many ships shared in proceeds of capture of french frigate dianne on 25 august. on 16 february 1801 captured turenne, j. imbert, master, or furienne. turenne or furienne french xebec of 6 guns , crew of 38 men. had 1200 stand of arms on board , had been sailing leghorn alexandria.


in march minorca returned aboukir bay. part of admiral keith s naval force @ british expedition egypt. here among vessels moored near possible beach, broadsides towards support landing of troops. in 1850 admiralty authorized award of naval general service medal clasp egypt claimants vessels had been present between march , september. minorca among vessels listed qualifying.
