theatre architecture competition (tac)

theatre architecture competition international ideas competition, aimed @ students , emerging practitioners, organized every 4 years architecture commission. sites of competition have been in these cities:

in 2011, competition theme design theatre specific performance. theatre can in found spaces not or presently performing space or create temporary installation.

in 2015, theme construct floating theatre on spree river in berlin, germany. competition has moved prague quadrennial berlin s stage|set|scenery.

in 2017, theme theatre public space . aim of competition challenge conventional typology of theatre , focus on design of temporary theatre (or theatres) in public activity center, disused sports stadium in hsinchu city in taiwan. 25 selected entries of tac 2017 exhibited , awarded during 2017 world stage design on july 1–9, 2017 in taipei, taiwan.

oistat scenofest has been held in conjunction prague quadrennial since 2003. provides seminars, workshops, thematic exhibitions, performances, , presentations, aim of engaging students , professionals in field of theatre design. since 2013, scenofest has formed new connections world stage design.

technical invention prize (tip)

technical invention prize (tip) global competition organized oistat technology commission. tip awards technicians come simple , smart solutions works in theatre or entertainment industry. clever ideas realized inexpensive means , materials. first technical invention prize initiated in 2011. in 2017, second tip held along world stage design 2017 in taipei, taiwan. selected entries competition published in tip catalogue reference of theatre professionals.
